Deryck Whibley is ready to start making new music. The Sum 41 frontman has been spending the past couple months recovering after years of alcohol abuse landed him in the hospital.
But earlier this week, Whibley took to the band's Facebook page to show that he's worked his way back to a place where he's able to start recording music again.
It's still early in the process, but Whibley says they have a lot of new ideas and promise to keep fans informed with more updates and photos. Sum 41 hasn't released a new album since 2011's Screaming Bloody Murder.
