The Foo Fighters are giving fans something else to contemplate as they wait for the band's big announcement next week. The rockers have been posting a series of coordinates on their social media accounts this week, leading fans to the eight cities they visited to record their new album.
But the band has also included a snippet of artwork with each coordinate, and fans on Reddit have put the pieces together. The complete image reveals a fictional cityscape made up of landmarks from each of the specified cities, such as the Hollywood sign, the Empire State Building, the Space Needle, the Washington Monument, and more.

The Foo Fighters, however, have yet to offer any official explanation for the picture. Some fans suggest it could be the cover art for their new album, while others think it may have something to do with their upcoming docuseries, "Sonic Highways." The HBO show is scheduled to premiere October 17th.
